Skyler Bell has become the best player for the UConn Huskies this season after transferring in from Wisconsin two seasons ago. He's in his final year of eligibility after playing three years for the Badgers and now two for the Huskies. In his senior season, he's putting up huge numbers. He is leading his team in catches, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns.

He's lighting it up in his new home while the Badgers can't seem to find anything in their offensive attack. Bell already has amassed 66 receptions for 845 yards and eight touchdowns. And his performance against UAB was one for the books, as he hauled in 8 catches for 149 yards and 3 touchdowns.

He's already surpassed any season total in all of those categories with still four games to go (counting a bowl game). At Wisconsin, his best statistical season was in 2022 when he had 30 catches for 444 yards and five scores.

Bell is now second in the country in both receiving yards and receptions. At the same time, he comes in fourth for receiving touchdowns. He's having a breakout year, and he may be looking back over his shoulder at his former team, saying it's a good thing. The Wisconsin offense can't get anything going.

Bell has more than double any Badger receiver from this season and almost four times as many yards and touchdowns. It's an impressive season for Bell, but it's overshadowed by how bad the Badgers are on offense, with one former Badger nearly catching the entire passing attack on his own. Wisconsin only has a little bit more than 1,200 yards passing on the season.

In his final season, it's cool to see a former Badger succeed and make a name for himself.
