Former Badgers wrap up a dominating NFL season

The NFL regular season has officially come to a close, and former Badgers showed out all across the league. From pure domination at the linebacker position, to a top-five running back, let's take a look at how some of the top Badgers performed in 2024.

T.J. Watt - 61 tackles, 11.5 sacks

The former defensive player of the year had another great showing for the Pittsburgh Steelers on his way to his sixth double-digit sack season. It was a statement year for former Badger linebackers, who had players finish top-five in both sacks and tackles in 2024.

Zack Baun - 151 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1 INT

Baun finished in the top-five tacklers this season and earned his first Pro Bowl honors. After serving as a backup for most of his career, he certainly showed he belongs after absolutely crushing for the Philadelphia Eagles this year. Only T.J. Watt (6) had more forced fumbles this season.

T.J. Edwards - 129 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 INT

Edwards led the Chicago Bears in tackles and was a force in the middle. It was the fourth straight season of 100 or more tackles for the former Badger.

Andrew Van Ginkel - 79 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 2 INT

Van Ginkel had a breakout season in his first year with the Minnesota Vikings tallying a career-high 11.5 sacks. Not only did he terrorize opposing quarterbacks in the backfield, but he also had two pick-sixes.

Jonathan Taylor - 1,431 rush yards, 11 touchdowns

Taylor was a top-five rusher this season for the Indianapolis Colts despite missing three games. It was his third time eclipsing 1,000 yards and 11 or more rushing touchdowns.

Russell Wilson - 2,482 passing yards, 16 touchdowns, 5 INT

The best quarterback in history is still going strong at 36 years old, leading the Pittsburgh Steelers to another playoff berth. After starting the season injured, Wilson came in to propel the team to four straight wins.
