The Wisconsin Badgers came out flat against the BYU Cougars to open the first half. Couldn't make even the easiest of shots, it seemed. The zone was giving them fits and the team wasn't adjusting. It was exhausting and frustrating for fans. And then... John Blackwell hit a 3, and as the score was adjusting, it went crazy. Absolutely glitchy. At one point, it showed the score was 228-38 in favor of Wisconsin. Fans were saying things like "Stop the Count" or "The offense is back!" or funny things like that.

The score bug glitched to show that Wisconsin was up 228-38 during the first half vs. BYU

It provided a nice reprieve in a frustrating half of basketball. As the Badgers struggled and fans were mystified, that funny glitch reverberated around the fanbase and into the rest of the country, causing laughter to reverberate throughout the country. The entire clip was hilarious, and thanks to Evan Miyakawa for posting it.

CBS eventually clicked it all the way off, and it didn't come back until after the commercial break. This gave them time to fix whatever was going wrong, chase the cat out of the booth, or whatever other nonsense caused it.

Wisconsin will need to rally back in the second half as they are down 47-36. They haven't shot well, and the zone has stymied them. They are 38% from the field and 29% from three while chasing BYU's 47% from the field and 42% from three. It's a game in which John Tonje hasn't found his shooting stroke, going 0-4 from three and 4-9 from the field. He hasn't been able to get anything to fall from downtown and yet he's shooting mostly good looks.

We will see how the Badgers adjust in the second half and if Greg Gard can crack the BYU code to pull off the win and get to the Sweet 16.
