Greg Gard is looking overseas for one of his next great wings, and Bosnia 6'6 star Harun Zrno just wrapped up a visit to Wisconsin and was impressed with his time there. He is a player who plans to play college basketball in 2025 after playing professionally in Europe. What's his timeline? Does he have more visits? What did he have to say about Wisconsin? And what are the chances that he becomes a Wisconsin Badger next season? Let's dig into all this.

Bosnia star Harun Zrno left Wisconsin impressed and with a clear understanding of how he would fit.

Zrno is a sharp shooting wing who is currently averaging 20 points a game in Bosnia while shooting 48% from three. He would immediately fit into what Wisconsin is doing, and Zrno noticed that, saying that he plays a very similar style of basketball in Bosnia. According to Nick Osen from 24/7 Sports, Zrno said, “I really like their style of play and everything…They told me that they really love that I am playing a really similar game back home." Read more from Osen below:

Zrno is in the midst of his visits with Wisconsin being the second visit. He checked out the Indiana Hoosiers last week, and he still plans to visit Creighton later this week and Virginia after that. Those are the last of the reported visits. The decision should follow shortly after if everything goes according to plan. He is represented by Agency 55 NIL, and thus, part of the visits will not only determine fit but also compensation. While fans know this is happening for all the star players, for a player to stop playing professionally in Europe and come to America, it's important to continue making a living while also furthering their career. This seems to be the case for Zrno, too.

The question will be how competitive the Badgers will be to land Zrno. It seems like he would be an excellent fit and one that would make the 2025-2026 team even better. We will see how the rest of the visits and negotiations shake out.
