Green Bay Packers RB trolls Wisconsin Badgers over 'most boring visit ever'

Safe to say he didn't love his first trip to Madison.

For years now, A.J. Dillon has been a popular player for the Green Bay Packers. While he might not be a superstar for the team and he's not playing in 2024 due to a neck injury, he has meant a lot to people in Wisconsin since 2020.

However, he has some Wisconsin Badgers supporters not too happy right now. As it turns out, when Dillon was coming out of high school, he was a top target for the Badgers, but his official visit didn't go as planned. Matter of fact, Dillon didn't hesitate in saying that it was the most boring visit he ever went on. Yikes:

AJ Dillon didn't hold back on his terrible official visit with the Wisconsin Badgers

"I'm there as a high school kid bro and all we did is we went to Buffalo Wild Wings. Most boring visit I've ever been on, ever. Now I love Wisconsin. Every time I go down to Madison, it's so much fun. "

Thankfully, Dillon has since been able to see that Wisconsin has one of the best college towns in the country, making it clear that he has made several return trips to the area and he absolutely loves it. Can you imagine what he would have been able to get done with the Badgers had he signed there, though?

We'll never know. At the same time, the Badgers ended up adding a different star running back for that 2017 class. No one special, just a young man by the name of Jonathan Taylor, who went on to run more than 6,000 yards and 50 touchdowns in his three years with the team.

Taylor will go down as one of the best RBs in Wisconsin history - things worked out for the Badgers in the end. Both Dillon and Taylor are in the NFL, so things turned out just fine for both of them as well. With all of that said, maybe the Badgers' staff should listen to what Dillon had to say and cancel all future plans for recruits to spend an evening at Buffalo Wild Wings.
