One of the fastest rising recruits in the 2026 class just picked up a Wisconsin offer after Greg Gard was able to see him in person. Quinn Costello now has 28 offers from schools all over the country, and some of the biggest names are after him. After he showed out at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, his ranking soared up 147 spots in an insane rise. The 6'10 big man is just the type of player Greg Gard loves.
Excited to announce that I have received a Division 1 offer from The University of Wisconsin! Iām grateful to Coach Gard and the rest of the staff for this opportunity. Go Badgers! pic.twitter.com/o73AVIJkWz

2026 center Quinn Costello is soaring up recruiting boards ā and Wisconsin is now in the mix
Quinn Costello is one of the hottest names in the AAU world right now, and he continues to impress, and college coaches are starting to get word of his ability. At the end of September, he had no major conference offers, and then Stanford and Notre Dame noticed him in October and May. Then June came along, and summer ball and the AAU circuit came. He was very impressive at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, and he added a ton of offers.
According to 24/7 Sports, Vanderbilt, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Purdue, Michigan State, North Carolina, Maryland, and many others came calling all in June and July. Now that Greg Gard has been able to see him play at an AAU tournament in Atlanta, the Badgers are officially in the mix.
What makes Costello such a fast riser? His versatility and ability to stretch the floor. He can shoot from all levels, knocking down threes or throwing down dunks. He also has a feel for the game that helps him anticipate passes to his teammates and find the open man. He truly seems like an ideal Badger; he's built like Nolan Winter and plays with a little of the same energy, too.
These are the players Greg Gard does wonders with, and hopefully, the pitch to get the 4-star Costello to come to Wisconsin will be convincing to see him in the Badger red and white.
