The Wisconsin Badgers can breathe a big sigh of relief after they advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Last year, that was a problem, as they were upset by James Madison, which left a bitter taste in their mouths. However, the work isn't done. The Badgers didn't come to the NCAA Tournament just to beat Montana. Wisconsin has its sights set a lot higher. To get to the Sweet 16 and beyond, it will need to beat BYU.
How to watch the NCAA 2nd round game vs. the BYU Cougars
Who: The No. 6 BYU Cougars
When: 6:45 PM CT on Saturday, March 22
Where: Ball Arena, Denver, Colorado
TV: CBS
Streaming: March Madness or other subscription service like FuboTV
The great news for Wisconsin Badgers fans is that Wisconsin got the prime-time slot on the main network for March Madness, CBS. This is great news because as long as you have some sort of over-the-air way to watch TV (even bunny ears), you can watch Wisconsin take on BYU. This time slot is often left for the games they feel may end up being a battle and cause some drama. So there's going to be a bit of anticipation for this one.
It will also be the same announcer crew as the first game against Montana: Brad Nessler, Brendan Haywood, and Dana Jacobson. They also were the crew that was on the BYU vs. VCU game. They will be familiar with how both teams got to this point and how they played in their respective first-round matchups.
There's a lot of anticipation for the Badgers to get into the Sweet 16 and maybe even beyond, but they will be taking on a red-hot BYU Cougars team who have won 10 of their last 11 and doing so in a hostile environment as BYU fans only needed to travel one state away to cheer on their team. It's a must-watch on Saturday.
