The Los Angeles trip started off hot for the Wisconsin Badgers, who beat the USC Trojans 84-69, and they did it without their leading scorer, John Tonje getting any points. It was an impressive show of depth by the Badgers. Any given night can be a different leading scorer and a different explosive point of attack. Now they head to the other side of Los Angeles to take on the UCLA Bruins, who have had quite the up and down season, especially in Big Ten play. If UCLA is hot, this could be a dangerous game for the Badgers; if they are cold, Wisconsin could run away with it.
How can I watch the game?
Who: UCLA Bruins
When: 8:30 pm CT on Tuesday, January 21st
Where: Pauley Pavilion, Los Angeles, California
TV: Peacock
We are back to a streaming-only frustrating game for those Badger fans who just want to watch on their regular TV channels. This one is a Peacock game, and it can't be found anywhere else, and NBC (who owns Peacock) made sure of it. Peacock requires a subscription to access and watch, and thus, for those who don't have the subscription or don't want the subscription, it's a lost cause.
There's now a case to be made that you can ride the rest of the season out without getting a Peacock subscription, but there are still three games left that will only be on the streaming-only service. If you would like to subscribe, you can click here.
The next two games will be on the Big Ten Network, so there's some good news for those who don't want Peacock or don't have it. However, the more that the Big Ten partners with NBC and Peacock, the more Big Ten basketball fans will have to bite the bullet and get a subscription, at least for basketball season.
