The Wisconsin Badgers patiently waited for the result of No. 12 Minnesota vs. No. 13 Northwestern in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament. Northwestern prevailed 72-64 and advanced to take on No. 5 Wisconsin in the second round. That game will be the second game played in the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday, and thus, the start time is estimated at 1:30 p.m., but it is not guaranteed.

Wisconsin has a lot to play for still in the NCAA tournament, and the Badgers have a chip on their shoulder for failing to complete a fairly easy final two weeks of play. They lost to both Oregon and Penn State. They now get to take on Northwestern, which they won during the regular season but will have to see again on Thursday.

How can I watch the game?

Who: Winner of No. 12 Minnesota or No. 13 Northwestern
When: 1:30 PM CT on Thursday, March 13
Where: Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana
TV: Big Ten Network
Streaming: Big Ten+ and Fox Sports App

This game will be on the Big Ten Network TV channel, unlike the first-round games, which were exclusively on Peacock. You can also watch on the Fox Sports App or on Big Ten+. These are both streaming or device options if that's a better option for you.

The winner of this match will face the UCLA Bruins on Friday, March 14th. The Bruins, the No. 4 overall seed in the Big Ten, received the double-bye and are awaiting the first two rounds before they play. Wisconsin would love to see UCLA again, not just because it's another round in the Big Ten Tournament but also because it was a game that the Badgers felt they could have won. It was a road game in Los Angeles that came down to the wire.
