If you found yourself checking on Google just who in the world Bowling Green State transfer tight end Jacob Harris was when he signed with Wisconsin, we don't blame you. However, Harris has gone from a no-name tight end to a beloved member of the Wisconsin community in the span of seven days. First, his game-winner against Penn State was a thing of beauty.
Fast forward to Week 5, and the big-bodied pass-catcher is creating more magic for the Badgers, hauling in a ridiculous touchdown pass from Colton Joseph to open the scoring against Michigan State. Just like his score against the Nittany Lions, Harris has turned countless heads with his TD against the Spartans, as it was truly unbelievable:

Jacob 'Highlight' Harris is becoming a total force for the Badgers
How in the world did he come down with that?!
There was a bit of a tip drill going on here, as for a second it seemed like the Joseph toss was going to be intercepted by the Michigan State defensive back. Instead, Harris never took his eyes off the ball and somehow managed to reel it in as he was falling to the ground.
This speaks to how valuable he has become for the Wisconsin offense, as the 6-6, 265-pounder has become a reliable option for Joseph and offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes. With Wisconsin getting back to old smash-mouth football and running the rock consistently, it opens up the passing game, and Joseph is taking full advantage of it.
Need even more proof of that? In Wisconsin's second scoring drive of the showdown against the Spartans, running back Darrion Dupree was looking sharp, but then plenty of people were fooled when Joseph tucked the ball in, scanned the field, and found a man wide open for another six. Oh, and it was Harris who was at the right place at the right time, managing to sneak a foot in for his second TD of the day. This was money:

The Michigan State defense didn't have a prayer of stopping that TD from happening, with a brilliant play call coming in from Grimes. With Harris taking his game to the next level in the Big Ten, it has been downright fantastic to see for the Wisconsin faithful.
He announced his name in the biggest and best way possible to give Wisconsin the thrilling win over the Nittany Lions, and now he has wasted no time in reminding everyone at Camp Randall that he's the real deal and ready to keep making big-time plays for the Badgers. That's good news for Fickell, as the hot-seat talk has been flipped, with the veteran coach back to making people believe again.
