The Wisconsin Badgers have announced their "Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025," which is full of incredible former athletes like Frank Kaminsky III, Joe Pavelski, Molly Enstrom, Cara Walls, James White, and many more. There's one non-athletic induction, and that is sportscaster Matt Lepay, "The Voice of the Badgers."

Matt Lepay is a legend behind the mic who has been the radio play-by-play voice for Wisconsin Menโ€™s Basketball since 1988 and for Wisconsin Football since 1994. He has been part of some of the most iconic moments for the Badgers but also in the grand landscape of collegiate athletics, having called five Big Ten Football Championships, six Rose Bowl Games, and three appearances in the NCAA Final Four. He also has been the voice behind the Milwaukee Brewers too. He's a legend.

Another Badger legend acknowledged Matt Lepay's legend status. After the announcement, JJ Watt jumped on social media to acknowledge his respect and love for Lepay. He talks about how he grew up listening to Lepay as a childhood fan, then as a player, then again as a fan, "best in the business and an incredible human being."

Lepay responded with an equally heartfelt reply to Watt. He even shouts about the Watt brothers as part of his respect for the family. What is maybe even more amazing is how Lepay acknowledges Watt as a colleague in the social media reply since JJ Watt has now entered the business of sports broadcasting.

It's great to see two Badger legends show respect to each other, especially when they are from different aspects of the sports world. Both are absolute class acts and represent Wisconsin so well. It's a pleasure to see Matt Lepay in the Wisconsin Hall of Fame.
