The Big Ten Media Days always have some antics between players and coaches. This edition features Wisconsin's John Blackwell finding his way into the media scrum while Greg Gard was answering questions. Blackwell asked a hilarious question that took Gard off guard, but descended into a moment when Gard, Blackwell, and Winter all laughed because they all had the same answer.
What was the question? Blackwell said, "Who on the team would you not let babysit your child?" It is funny to think about any of these basketball stars babysitting, and it took Gard a minute to figure out who he would least trust in a babysitting moment. He said, "Hold on, let me go around the room." Then he landed on one name, "Riccardo Greppi."
All three of them chuckled and Blackwell said that's who he was thinking too.

Greg Gard would not let Ricardo Greppi babysit his child in funny exchange with John Blackwell

In the video above, you can see the exchange, and it's a funny moment. It seemed as if Gard was going to explain why he chose the sophomore forward from Italy, but Blackwell and Winter were already walking off, as their assumption was proved correct.
Since it was done in good nature, the answer was probably something silly like Greppi isn't good with kids, or he would give them too much candy, or some other funny reason. Gard was clearly calculated in his answer, and he thought through every player before answering.
Big Ten Media Days are proving some actual basketball-related topics and points of discussion, but this moment was too funny not to share. It's not just that the Badgers are a good basketball team; they are likable and fun, too.
