John Tonje didn't hear his name called in the first round of the NBA Draft, but that was what the experts were predicting all along: that Tonje is going to be a second-round fit. As we wait for the second round to begin tonight at 7 p.m. CST on ESPN, there's one team that seems to have a natural fit for Tonje's skills and abilities, and it would thrill a Wisconsin fan: the Milwaukee Bucks.

It's not a huge stretch, as Tonje is currently projected as the 12th best available player left in the NBA Draft for round two by ESPN. The picks start at No. 31, so he would only need to fall about five spots for that to happen. The second round is pretty unpredictable, so it's not only possible, but it wouldn't be surprising.

Honestly, it wouldn't be surprising to see Tonje drafted 31st or 51st. That's the second-round movement, as teams are balancing best available and best fit even more so than in the first round, as these players will either be backups or G-League (most likely).

Why the Milwaukee Bucks at No. 47 Would Be the Perfect Landing Spot for John Tonje

The Milwaukee Bucks need a really solid wing that can score and defend. They will most likely be looking at one of the top available wings when pick 47 comes up on the clock. According to Finley Keuhl of BrewHoop.com, he's one of the targets Milwaukee fans would love to see because of the fit.

"It’s easy to project Tonje being Milwaukee’s version of Aaron Wiggins, who is currently making big contributions for a Finals team. He’s a flamethrower from behind the arc who also excels at carving out driving lanes and getting to the free-throw line. He shot 38.8% from deep and 90.9% from the charity stripe at Wisconsin. Tonje isn’t a standout defender or passer, but he’s not a liability in those categories either."
