Wisconsin has added a last-minute addition to the 2026 recruiting class at the wide receiver position. Kash Brock announced today that he has committed to the Badgers. He even noted that he plans to enroll in January, so his turnaround is quick.

Brock was originally committed to play for Matt Campbell and the Iowa State Cyclones. However, when he left to go coach at Penn State, Brock got out of his commitment and started looking around again. Wisconsin, in desperate need of wide receivers, swooped in and was able to add the talented playmaker from Chandler, Arizona.

He's actually the third wide receiver commit in the class alongside Zion Legree and Keeyshawn Tabuteau. The most of any position in the small recruiting class. Yet, the need is great for the replenishment of that room as a couple of players graduated, and two players plan to transfer.

While Luke Fickell won't want to rely on true freshmen to bring the room back up to speed, it does help for both the present and the future. Brock is exceptionally skilled in the class. He has blow-by speed and can also use his 6'2 frame to beat defensive backs to the ball and the field position.

Brock's move to Wisconsin has happened in rapid fire. While he had been in conversations with Wisconsin's WR coach, Jordan Reid, the offer didn't come until New Year's Eve. He then quickly decided the next day to become a Badger.

He was also considering Northwestern and Arizona, but ultimately the opportunity at Wisconsin was too big to pass up. The fact that he's coming in January is also important for the Badgers, as they need all the help they can get as soon as they can get it.
