The Wisconsin Badgers and Luke Fickell are working hard to flip a 4-star Louisville wide receiver commit. Wisconsin's wide receivers coach Ari Confesor has secured a visit in a couple of weeks for Charles Alexander Jr. to come to Madison. He will join a good group of other top recruits for the weekend of June 12. However, the Badgers aren't the only program he's decided to visit. He will also visit Louisville, South Carolina, and Michigan (most likely).
Allen Trieu was the first to update this big news for Wisconsin as the Badgers work to secure a flip from the 6'2 high-flying receiver from Ohio.

Wisconsin is hoping to get 4-star WR Charles Alexander Jr. to flip from Louisville

Alexander has been committed to the Cardinals since November, but it does seem like there is a real chance he flips. Rivals actually gives the same percentage to Wisconsin (4.7%) as it gives to Louisville to land the 4-star recruit.
This isn't a particularly high percentage, but none of the teams have much on Rivals, yet it does seem like, based on his visits, it's down to four schools. Confesor is bringing him to Madison on an important weekend for Wisconsin recruiting. It's a weekend that currently has six top recruits listed as visiting. None are currently committed yet, but all are considered priority players on the target board.
2027 is shaping up to be a great class for the Badgers. 24/7 Sports currently ranks Wisconsin's current haul as the No. 17 recruiting class in the country. There's still a lot of time and work to be done, but targets like Alexander are important for the overall picture. Especially if Fickell gets a flip.
Alexander joins two other players whom Luke Fickell is hoping to flip from other programs. Mekhi Williams, a FSU commit, is coming next weekend (May 29), and Brody Pfannenstiel, a Texas Tech commit, is coming the week after. Fickell would love to get all three to flip, but even one would be a big deal.
