The Badgers were able to get an official visit scheduled for a player that Luke Fickell is hoping to flip from Texas Tech. Brody Pfannenstiel is a 3-star edge player from Hoisington, Kansas, and has 13 offers. Wisconsin has been chasing him down, but Pfannenstiel committed to the Red Raiders back in March. Matt Mitchell and Wisconsin didn't give up the chase.

The Badgers were still able to get him to commit to an official visit June 4-7. Pfannenstiel is also planning to visit both Kansas State and Texas Tech. This recruitment may truly be up in the air, and Fickell is working hard to ruin Joe McGuire's plans with Pfannenstiel.

Texas Tech may still end up being the destination in the end, but Pfannenstiel certainly isn't as committed as his verbal would appear. There is clear movement that Wisconsin could get him to flip. The one drawback to the plan to get him to flip to the Badgers is that Pfannenstiel's visit to Lubbock is the week after his visit to Madison.

There will be one final chance for McGuire to get him to stay committed to the Red Raiders. The 6'3, 225-pound edge rusher is one of the best edge rushers in the state of Kansas. 24/7 Sports lists him as the No. 4 edge rusher in his state, and On3.com has him listed the same.

It would be a big flip for the Badgers, who are always trying to stack up talent on the edge. For decades, Wisconsin's strategy has been to get linebackers who can wreak havoc in the backfield. The 2027 recruiting class only has one other edge in the class, Isaac Miller of Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Will Wisconsin be able to make the flip happen? That will be the question to watch that first weekend of June.
