Wisconsin now has four recruits committed to the 2027 football class. They all have one thing in common, and it's vitally important: They are all from Wisconsin. Luke Fickell continues to stack up in-state talent, and he just added another player in 3-star OLB, Isaac Miller, from Catholic Memorial in Waukesha. A big shift has happened this year, and there's actually potentially more in-state recruits on the way.

First, let's talk about Isaac Miller, who's listed as the seventh-best player in the state. He's sitting on 23 offers from all over the country and is a high-ceiling, tons of potential pickup for Wisconsin. He holds offers from Indiana, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Kentucky, and many more.

24/7 Recruiting analyst Allen Trieu posted some highlights of Miller, which show him mostly in a stand-up edge rushing position. He likes to generate power from his explosiveness off the edge, but can also bull rush up the middle.

Miller is another great example of Luke Fickell building a wall around Wisconsin. The Badgers now have commitments from the top players in the state, No. 6, 7, and 9 (according to 24/7 composite rankings). They have crystal balls for No. 2, 3, 4, and 10. That's wildly impressive by Fickell and his recruiting team.

What makes this even more impressive for Fickell is that he's generating momentum in this class after another disappointing season on the field. Often, that's the time when recruits turn away from the in-state schools and look elsewhere, especially the best players. That's not the case for this class; these recruits believe in what's being built and want to stay home.

Recruiting works along momentum, and as one in-state recruit commits, often others follow; that seems to be the case here for Fickell and his program's recruiting success.

Miller won't be the last in-state recruit to pledge to the Badgers and eventually sign; he's just jumping into the conga line, and Wisconsin fans love to see it.
