Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers pick up the second recruit in as many days. The Badgers have now added an important 3-star cornerback from Indiana in Carsen Eloms. This is now the third commitment that Fickell has secured out of Indiana in the 2026 class and the fourth recruit total. All four recruits are 3-star recruits according to 24/7 Sports. Fickell is starting to put together a pretty impressive and helpful 2026 recruiting class.

3-star CB Carsen Eloms has committed to the Wisconsin Badgers
Carsen Eloms is a 6'0, 175lb cornerback from Fishers, Indiana, who plays for Fishers High School and is listed as one of the Badgers' priority pickups. In other words, this was a recruit that Luke Fickell circled as a "need to have."
Eloms holds 14 offers from all over the country, including Michigan State, Purdue, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Minnesota, and Indiana. He has spent time visiting Michigan State, Purdue, Missouri, and Wisconsin. He ultimately chose to be a Badger and join the recruiting class that is starting to take shape for Fickell.
Eloms is the fourth recruit in the class but the first defensive back. He joins edge rusher Carmelow Reed on the defensive side of the ball, as well as OL Benjamin Novak and WR Tayshon Bardo. With only four total commitments, it is now rated as the 45th best recruiting class in 2026. For a long time, Novak was the only player in the class, but in the last month, Fickell and his staff have added three big recruits with more to come.
