A transfer portal offensive lineman named Grant Seagren, a transfer from the Nebraska Cornhuskers has landed an offer from Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers. This is another attempt for the Badgers to continue building along the trenches and an opportunity to continue building depth, especially after injury.

Grant Seagren a transfer portal target from Nebraska has landed a Wisconsin offer
Grant Seagren is going into his redshirt sophomore year and has very limited playing time. His true freshman year he redshirted and built up strength to compete at the Big Ten level. He also spent time developing and getting ready to provide depth for his redshirt freshman year. This is exactly what happened as he played in seven games last season, primarily as injury depth. He's now looking for a new opportunity.
According to his social media account he has picked up offers from all over including Kentucky, Rutgers, Washington State, among others. The latest offer came from Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers.
Seagren is 6'7" and 260 lbs and is still working on adding more mass to his frame. He actually came out of high school as a tight end but was such an excellent blocker that he moved to the line to help provide the depth needed. It will be interesting to see how he continues to develop and what position he ultimately lands in. The schools looking at him are mostly looking at him for the offensive line but there could be some excitement for how he goes as a blocking tight end.
