The NFL Combine is underway in Indianapolis, and one former Badger has been lighting it up in front of scouts. Mason Regier is one of two Badgers to receive an invite, and has been participating in defensive line drills ahead of the NFL Draft in April.

Reiger has made the most of his opportunities at the combine so far, claiming top-10 rankings in several key drills. Here's how the former Badger has fared.

Mason Reiger posts second-best vertical leap at the NFL Combine

Reiger obviously showed some explosiveness at Wisconsin, but to post the second-best mark of 40 inches at the vertical jump just two years removed from a major knee injury is impressive. He trailed only George Gumbs Jr. out of Florida who had a 41-inch jump.

Reiger's 10-yard spilt in the 40-yard dash was FAST

While Reiger's 40 time ranks a mere 14th, his 10-yard split, which may be even more important for edge defenders, was elite. His 1.61 time was good for sixth, and once again showed Reiger's quick twitch and explosiveness off the line of scrimmage.

Reiger's jumps once again put him in the top-five of edge players

Reiger's broad jump of 10-foot-5 was tied for fifth among edge rushers, and combined with his vertical leap, puts in him near the best of the best for jumps at the combine. Reiger found himself up near projected first round picks all day, and while his ceiling isn't quite that high, there's no doubt he caught some team's attentions today.

Overall, Reiger did himself a lot of favors today, and likely improved his draft stock after the impressive display. He'll be an older prospect at 24 years old at the start of the season, but should be a nice rotational edge for an NFL team needing pass rushing help.
