The Wisconsin Badgers were called soft by Big Ten color analyst Raphael Davis going into the half. In fact, his exact line was, "Wisconsin looked like a soft basketball squad.” Then, after the 90-60 loss for the Badgers, the Nebraska men's basketball official social media account posted a picture of Berke Buyuktuncel with blood pouring off his face and a caption that said, "THE TOUGHER TEAM."
See the post below and note, it's probably a bit too on the nose.

Wisconsin played terrible and were clearly not ready or willing to be tough

The Badgers were not tough in any sense of the word during this game. They played soft on defense and played lackluster on offense, and it led to an absolute beatdown by Nebraska. Greg Gard, after the game, even said, "When we choose to be bad, we're really bad."
Nebraska decided early on that they could just do whatever they wanted down low, whether from their big men or their guards, that the bigs for Wisconsin would play soft. And soft they played on defense. Evan Flood of On3.com noticed in the game recap that the Huskers didn't get a single transition point; they scored 44 points in the paint, 17 dunks or layups. That's soft.
However, it wasn't just on defense that Wisconsin was playing soft. It was on offense, too. Nebraska also decided to drape John Blackwell and Nick Boyd and give the bigs more cushion, as they weren't playing tough anyway. It led to Blackwell going 1-11 from the field. Brutal, but it all comes down to toughness.
The Badgers didn't play with toughness. Nebraska did, and the tougher team won. The Cornhuskers media team took advantage and was probably a bit too on the nose. Now Greg Gard has to find a way to get his 7th-tallest team in the country to actually play big and tough, not just be sticks in the mud.
