EA Sports is releasing its highly anticipated College Football 26 on July 10th, but there are already leaks out there with insider information, including player ratings. Recently, TeamCrafters.net published the Wisconsin player rankings based on leaks. There is currently only one player on the Badgers team that has a 90 or higher rating, and that is defensive back Ricardo Hallman at 90.
The 5 best Wisconsin players on College Football 26
1. DB - Ricardo Hallman - 90 overall
2. RT - Riley Mahlman - 89 overall
3. SS - Preston Zachman - 88 overall
4. CB - Nyzier Fourqurean - 87 overall
5. FS - Austin Brown - 86 overall
The list isn't overly surprising, as many of the standouts are now primed for a bigger year next season. It is surprising that there isn't one transfer included in the top players, even though Luke Fickell worked to restock the transfer portal. Lance Mason is the highest-rated transfer at 82.
Wisconsin's starting quarterback, Billy Edwards Jr., has an 81 rating, an 83 speed rating, and the highest-rated skills are toughness, stamina, and injury. This is, in some ways, good news for the Badgers, as injury haunted Wisconsin last season. Maybe that injury rating will prove true this season, and he can stay healthy all of 2025.
According to EA Sports, Wisconsin's best position group is its running back depth, with an overall score of 81. The safeties are next, rated 78. After that, it's pretty rough.
Obviously, these rankings could still change before the actual release, and the website TeamCrafters, which provided the leak, is quick to point that fact out. There are always some changes before the release and then throughout the season as players perform better or worse than their projected rankings for video game users who continue to update the game.
