Nick Boyd has proven he's the best point guard in the Big Ten conference. He's outpacing all the others with his excellent ability to score and take over games. Yet, he was elected to the Second All-Big Ten Team. Journalist Benjamin Worgull pointed out that Nick Boyd has outplayed the list of first-teamers in head-to-head matchups this season: Keaton Wagler, Bennett Stirtz, Jeremy Fears, Braden Smith, Pryce Sanfort, and Yaxel Lendeborg.
The snub felt real to Wisconsin fans who were rightfully enraged, showcasing his stats and revealing why it was a big miss to put Boyd on the Second Team All-Big Ten Team. While Nick Boyd has yet to talk publicly about it, he did leave a comment on Wisconsin Basketball's Instagram account after John Blackwell shared a laughing emoji. Nick Boyd said, " twizooo it's time!" with his own emoji of a receipt.

Nick Boyd may go nuclear in March Madness now after his First Team All Big Ten snub

Boyd essentially tells Blackwell it's time to prove the doubters wrong, and he has the receipts. It's what Wisconsin fans want to see, for no one plays with a bigger chip on his shoulder than Boyd. He is also notorious for rising to the occasion.
His best games have all come when he's needed to prove someone wrong or beat a player assumed to be better than him. Boyd may truly go nuclear in March Madness in an effort to prove that he's the top point guard in the conference.
If Wisconsin fans were hoping Boyd and Blackwell were going to coast through the Big Ten Tournament to get extra rest before March Madness, that dream may have died with Boyd's social media reaction. If Wisconsin keeps winning (and plays the favorites) in the Big Ten Tournament, they most likely will play Washington, Illinois, Michigan, and Michigan State for the title.
Besides Washington, those are all teams with first-team players ahead of Boyd; he's ready to show the receipts starting this week.
