Nick Saban gives Wisconsin Badgers extra motivation to upset Iowa in Week 10

Saban clearly knows what he's talking about.

With the Wisconsin Badgers getting ready to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes, not many people are giving Luke Fickell and Co. much of a chance to post an upset. Yup, plenty of people think running back Kaleb Johnson is going to have his way against the Wisconsin defense.

Don't tell that to legendary football coach Nick Saban, though. The future Hall of Famer is now getting work in for ESPN on College GameDay and he was the only one to show faith in the Badgers for this one. That's right, the College GameDay panel made their picks, and Saban was literally the only one to rock with Wisconsin:

That's a whole lot of Hawkeyes logos we're seeing in that graphic. Indeed, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Keegan-Michael Key, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit all picked Iowa to post a Week 10 win over the Badgers.

However, Saban doesn't care about everyone else going in that direction, as he's sticking to his guns with Wisconsin. We can only hope word of this made its way to the Badgers' locker room, as no one other than Saban believes they'll post a victory with The Heartland Trophy on the line.

It's not going to be easy and there certainly is worry about trying to contain Johnson, who has been one of the best running backs in the country this year. However, with Iowa starting backup signal-caller Brenden Sullivan, the hope is Wisconsin will be able to limit the passing attack for Iowa from taking off.

There's also going to be pressure on quarterback Braedyn Locke stepping his game up, while also taking care of the football. Locke has thrown an interception in five straight games. In order for Wisconsin to have a chance at a victory, he'll have to be on point. It's unknown if that will happen or not, but regardless, Saban is confident in Fickell's team to get the job done.
