Wisconsin and Luke Fickell are hard at work to build up a strong 2026 recruiting class, and they've been working to get into the top lists and schedule visits for their biggest targets. One of the major targets that Wisconsin would love to swoop in and grab is Kelvin Obot, who is one of the best tackles in the class, according to 24/7 Sports.

Kelvin Obot a top offensive tackle has scheduled a Wisconsin visit for March

Obot will be visiting Wisconsin first out of all of his top schools, and he will be arriving on campus next month, March 19-21. Fickell and the Badgers are taking on some of the top recruiting schools in the country for Obot, with Michigan State, Michigan, Tennessee, Utah, and USC as the other schools he plans to visit in the spring.

24/7 Sports has Obot listed as the 11th-best offensive tackle in the 2026 class and the best tackle in Idaho. He has offers from all over but has prioritized the above schools and the ones he wants to learn more about and check out.

Wisconsin has also prioritized Obot in a big way. Recently, he posted on social media about all the Christmas love he got from Wisconsin. You can see letters and notes from the offensive line coaches and recruiters. See the image below:

If Wisconsin were to secure Obot, he would be the second offensive line commit in the 2026 class, joining Benjamin Novak, who has been committed for months now. He would also be the second commit period for the Badgers. While Luke Fickell and the staff have a ton of lures in the water, they've only been able to get one commitment so far for 2026. The floodgates will open in the spring but for now, they are trying to line up all their top priorities like Obot.
