Wisconsin added another 2026 recruit as they head into the offseason. It looks as if Greg Gard has already found his Nick Boyd replacement with Owen Foxwell. A starting point guard for South East Melbourne Phoenix in the NBL. The Australian NBL is one of the premier overseas leagues that features many ex-NBA players and high-major college players who didn't quite land in the NBA.

He can score in bunches but also share the rock. He averaged 11.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game this year. And he plays with a confidence and craftiness that will remind you of Boyd, but he has his own flair to the game that he will bring to the Badgers.

There are two sets of highlights you will want to watch. The first is from when he originally committed to LSU. However, after the Tigers changed coaches, he backed up and decided to flip to Wisconsin. The highlight reel is impressive with about 7+ minutes of content.

Foxwell is probably headed to Wisconsin because he has NBA aspirations. It's hard to make the jump from NBL to the NBA, but it is easier to show off in college and then get drafted. Yet, he's been doing what he can to put himself before NBA scouts. His second highlight reel comes from an Adidas Hoops EuroCamp, where he went off. He had 19 points, 5 assists, 5 steals, and 4 rebounds. Watch it and enjoy:

The thing that will make Wisconsin fans excited is that Foxwell clearly does everything Wisconsin likes to do. He plays defense, loves to get steals, and generates fastbreaks. He plays fast and wants to run uptempo. He can clearly score from every level and loves to both take the three and explode to the hoop. Lastly, he also plays with confidence and poise that will help the Badgers make some noise in the Big Ten next year.

Wisconsin fans should be excited about what they see in these clips from Foxwell. He's not Nick Boyd, but he is something special.
