The matchup against Alabama is the last non-conference game for the Badgers and is the most important one as well. This is a big game, especially now that Nick Saban is no longer with Alabama. The Crimson Tide will still have a top-tier team under Kalen DeBoer and will give Wisconsin everything they have.
This will be the final non-conference game before the Badgers hit the road and start Big Ten play. It would be great to head into Big Ten play on a high note with a big win over Alabama at home. Wisconsin has faced Alabama only two times in its long history with their last matchup back in 2015.

Penn State is always a team that seems to be near the top of the Big Tena and tough opponents for anyone they face. With there no longer being divisions with the addition of the four Pac-12 teams, a win against Penn State would be huge for later in the season.
Wisconsin and Penn State have not played each other since 2021 and the Badgers have not come away with a win since 2011 at Camp Randall Stadium. This would be a huge win to break the five-game losing streak against the Nittany Lions.
