4 teams Wisconsin does not want in their NCAA Tournament region

Wisconsin is sitting comfortably knowing they are fairly safe when it comes to the NCAA Tournament. However, when they get there, here are four teams they would not want in their region.

Purdue Boilermakers

Let's face it, no one wants Purdue in their region, they don't want to face Zach Edey. Wisconsin already has to face this team twice a year and to do it a third or possibly fourth time if they end up meeting in the Big Ten Tournament.

Edey averages 24 points a game and is in line to win the Naismith Player of the Year Award. In thier first matchup against Purdue, the Badgers held Edey to 18 points, but you can only hold a player down like that for so long.

While it may seem like facing a team in your own conference might be easier because you are more familiar with them, it is the opposite. As much as you know that team, they know you as well and know how to gameplan against you.

Just like many teams heading into March Madness, the Badgers should hope they don't have to face Edey and the Boilermakers anytime in their region.
