Wisconsin important players. Ricardo Hallman. player. CB. Ricardo Hallman. 493. . . Cornerback. Junior

Ricardo Hallman might not have shown his talent with the number of tackles in the open field, but he was an absolute ballhawk for the Badgers. Hallman only recorded 34 total tackles, 27 solo, in 2023, but the stat that catches the eye is his seven interceptions, returning one 95 yards for a touchdown.

With a secondary that, according to the depth chart, is going to be less experienced this year. Hallman's ability to be a ballhawk and cause so many turnovers for the Badgers is something to look at for 2024. Think about Sauce Gardner and what he did with Fickell as his coach.

If Hallman can improve his tackle numbers and continue his success with interceptions, he could be the top player on the Wisconsin defense and help out an offense that will be completely new in 2024.
