The Badger basketball recruiting class only has two commits so far, but both players stock has skyrocketed since committing to Wisconsin.

The Badgers' first commit of the class, De Pere, WI native Zack Kinziger, was just recently upgraded to a 4-Star recruit by 247 Sports. Not only that, at the start of the month, 247 had Kinziger rated as the number 199 overall player by composite rating, just four weeks later he's already rated 133.

It's safe to say that Kinziger has been tearing it up this summer while playing for Team Herro. There's a chance that by the time he steps onto campus he could be a top 100 recruit of the class. Kinziger has done nothing but show out ever since his early commitment to the Badgers.

The Badgers' second commit, Middleton, WI native Will Garlock, has also seen his rankings shoot up the board. His overall rating has climbed to an 88, just two points short of another 4-star recruit rating. The big seven-footer will be given plenty of opportunity to shine after Steven Crowl graduates, so it's good to see he could be a freshman to come in and play big minutes.

As it stands right now the Badgers have the seventh overall class for 2025. That's sure to change as more top 100 recruits commit to other programs. Greg Gard and company have done a nice job at keeping in-state talent, even better that both prospects continue to improve before their time in Madison.
