Badger Basketball Adds a Local Preferred Walk-On to Roster

The Badgers have added Sussex, WI native Aidan Konop to their 2024 class as a preferred walk-on he announced on social media.

The 6'2" guard chose to walk on at Wisconsin over several Division II offers. In his senior year, he averaged 20 points, 5.7 boards and 3.8 assists per game while shooting an impressive 56.5%. Konop will help to replace three former walk-ons in Ross Candelino, Isaac Linsey, and Luke Haertle who transferred during the spring portal period.

Konop will join Issac Gard and Jack Janicki as walk-ons for the program. He'll also round out the 2024 class which featured Daniel Frietag, Jack Robison and Andrija Vukovic.
