Badger Basketball Big Ten Opponents Announced for '24-25

The Big Ten opponents for Badger basketball have been announced. Time, dates and TV broadcasts will be announced later.

Double Time

The Badgers will play Iowa, Illinois and Minnesota twice during the conference schedule. Illinois is the reigning Big Ten conference tournament champion and defeated the Badgers in both of their matchups. Wisconsin was a combined 2-1 against Iowa and Minnesota.

New Foes

Oregon, USC, UCLA and Washington are all new Big Ten members the Badgers will face.According to Brandon Harrison, the Brands Director for UW, this will mark the Badgers' first trip to UCLA since 1972 and the first time to USC since 1982. It will also be Oregon's first trip to Madison since 1988 and Washington's first since 1958.

Revenge Game

Wisconsin will face Nebraska at home which will mark the return of recent transfer Conner Essegian. Essigian entered the portal after a disappointing 2023 with the Badgers and joined the Huskers.
