Sarah Franklin of the Badger volleyball team has been nominated for Best Women's College Athlete alongside Caitlin Clark of Iowa, LSU's Haleigh Bryant, and Northwestern's Izzy Scane.
Franklin is just the third Badger to receive a nomination as a current student-athlete. Hockey player Blake Geoffrion and basketball star Frank Kaminsky are the only other two in the elite group. Franklin, the Big Ten Player of the Year and AVCA National Player of the Year, will now look to add another award to her illustrious career.
The ESPY Awards ceremony will be held on July 11th in Los Angeles.
