Badgers Head Overseas to Nab Newest 2025 Commitment
Greg Gard and the Badgers have landed another 2025 commitment from Hayden Jones of New Zealand.

The 6'5" guard plays for the Nelson Giants of the New Zealand Basketball League. This past season he averaged 2.9 points per game in 12 minutes of action.
The Badgers have made it a point to recruit internationally, as they have already added Serbia's Andrija Vukovic to their 2024 class. Kirk Penney, the former Badger and current assistant, is a New Zealand native and seemed to be the driving force behind landing Jones.
Jones now joins Zach Kinziger and Will Garlock as the third member of the 2025 class. The Badgers are also hosting a huge recruiting weekend in September where several top 100 prospects will be in attendance as the team looks to finalize their 2025 group.
