Badgers Land Top Recruit Mason Posa

After making the top three, the Wisconsin Badgers have secured the commitment of linebacker Mason Posa. He announced his decision in front of a crowd at his high school.

The New Mexico native had narrowed his choices down to Oregon, Texas A&M and Wisconsin and ultimately chose the Badgers. One of the top priorities for Luke Fickell and company, Posa comes to Madison as the number one overall recruit in New Mexico and the number 18 ranked linebacker in the country.

The Badgers held an official visit with Posa earlier this month and have worked hard to earn his commitment. Posa is now the 18th member of the 2025 class which is approaching a top 10 ranked class nationally.

Posa now joins three other linebackers in the 2025 class in Cooper Catalano, Brenden Anes and Samuel Lateju. The four-star recruit is now the highest rated member of the Badgers' 2025 class thus far.
