Badgers Lose Out on Top 2025 Recruit Days Before Official Visit
The Badger basketball program lost out on one of their top 2025 targets on Tuesday as Amari Allen announced his commitment to Alabama.

Allen, who was scheduled to take an official visit this weekend, will now play for Nate Oats and the Tide instead, before ever giving Wisconsin the opportunity to impress. In a sadly amusing twist, the underdog Badger football team is set to take on Alabama the same weekend Allen was supposed to visit Madison.
Allen, a Green Bay native, is currently the 106th ranked recruit in the country and would have been the highest ranked prospect of the class thus far. The Badgers are still set to host a plethora of other recruits this weekend including Davion Hannah and Tommy Ahneman.
