This one might surprise people, but with the amount of success Ohio State has had in the past with other coaches, it really shouldn't be a surprise at all. The Buckeyes have not won a championship since 2014 and that was with former head coach Urban Meyer. They have not had a win in the College Football Playoff since 2020 under Day and they haven't seen the Playof sine 2022.

Day has also done the worst thing a coach at Ohio State can do and that is not only lose to Michigan but lose to Michigan three times. The worst part is that not only did he lose to Michigan in 2023, he lost to a coach that had to take over for Jim Harbaugh due to suspension.

Day and his Buckeye team always seem to be in the mix when it comes to the College Football Playoff selection, but when there have not been the results everyone expects from you, Day could soon find himself on the hot seat. Ohio State wants results nad they probably want results soon, so Day better give them that so he can find some job security.
