Big Ten football power rankings after spring portal closes: Did Badgers get better?

The spring transfer portal window is officially closed, so where do the Badgers stand in the Big Ten?

Northwestern has had its ups and downs in the past few seasons. Boosting the roster would have been a good thing in the spring window, but they did not bring in any new players from the portal in April.

The biggest losses for the Wildcats were quarterback Brendan Sullivan and wide receiver Jacob Gil, however neither has committed to another program just yet.

The Wildcats could use more depth on their roster and without that depth, they won't be competitive going forward into the 2024 season. They continue to be the little brother of the Big Ten, especially with bigger fish coming in from the Pac-12.
