Purdue was one of two teams that were tied for the worst record in the Big Ten finishing 4-8 overall. With all the issues the Boilermakers faced in 2023, they did not do a lot in the transfer portal to fix said problems for 2024.

With the loss of two defensive players in the spring window, you would think head coach Ryan Walters would have brought in guys to add depth, but nothing. Walters did no bring in any new players in the spring window.

The Boilermakers had a rough 2023 season and it looks like they are heading for a rough 2024 season next leaving them near the bottom of these power rankings.
