. . . 487. Big Ten power rankings. . . . . 14

Minnesota won just enough games to become bowl-eligible in 2023 with a 6-7 record, but they were just 3-6 in the Big Ten. For the teams that are towards the bottom of this list, the Golden Gophers did more than others, but they still need work.

The Golden Gophers lost seven guys in the portal, but they have brought in four guys to make up for the losses. The good news is that the four recruits came from power conferences including Virginia Tech quarterback transfer Dylan Wittke. Minnesota got Tyler Williams out of Georgia to be a offensive weapon for Wittke.

The other two power conference transfers came from LSU and Clemson will round out their spring transfer class. They will have a tough schedule in 2024 though so that is why they are lower on these rankings.
