The Wisconsin Badgers’ Camp Randall Stadium has a history of being a rowdy place to play, where House of Pain’s “Jump Around” gets the stadium shaking.

For fans excited about the release of EA College Football 25, it is “Rankings Week,” where EA Sports will release rankings of different college football teams based on various criteria. Today, EA Sports released their ranking of the 25 Toughest Places to Play in College Football. EA Sports ranked Camp Randall Stadium as the seventh toughest place to play in college football and the third toughest place among Big Ten teams.

While Camp Randall's recognition as a tough place is commendable, it's important to note that the Badgers haven't been dominant at home in the past three seasons. Since the start of the 2021 season, Wisconsin has maintained a 12-8 record in Madison. Last season, they suffered disappointing losses to Iowa and Northwestern, with the latter prompting starting safety Hunter Wohler to call out the team for their effort.

If you subscribe to the Athletic, various college football writers debated the rankings themselves. Aubrey Snyder, who covers Penn State, argued that Michigan Stadium should be ranked higher than Camp Randall. Given Michigan’s undefeated record in Ann Arbor since 2021, she has a good point.

Texas A&M’s Kyle Field ranks as the toughest place to play. Ohio State’s Ohio Stadium was the top-ranked Big Ten stadium at no. 4. Other Big Ten venues were listed as follows: Penn State’s Beaver Stadium was ranked no. 6, Oregon’s Autzen Stadium was no. 11, Michigan Stadium was no. 16, Iowa’s Kinnick Stadium was no. 20 on the list, and Michigan State’s Spartan Stadium was no. 22.

It is excellent that Camp Randall Stadium received recognition as a tough place to play by EA Sports, but let's see some more home wins this year, shall we?
