Lineman Torin Pettaway Re-Commits to Badgers After Brief Commitment to Minnesota

Luke Fickell and the Badgers have flipped defensive lineman Torin Pettaway back to Wisconsin after he de-committed earlier this year in favor of Minnesota.

Pettaway had originally committed to the Badgers in January but had a change of heart and committed to the Gophers instead in March. The Middleton, Wisconsin native will be the first defensive lineman so far for the Badgers' class of 2025.

The 6'5", 265 pound recruit is ranked as the number 50 overall defensive lineman for the class of 2025 and brings Wisconsin's total commitments up to 17.

After losing Pettaway to the Gophers, the Badgers stayed in contact and scheduled an official visit for June. It seems as though their persistence has paid off as Pettaway is a Badger once again. Hopefully for good this time.
