Selection Sunday is almost here and Wisconsin can sleep soundly knowing they are in barring a total collapse. Now they just need a date, location, and opponent.

Wisconsin has done everything it needed to this season to help their case to make it into the NCAA Tournament. They are 18-11 and 10-8 in the Big Ten and with two games left can improve that record to strengthen their resume.

The Badgers have some big wins under their belt including Marquette, Nebraska, and Northwestern. The most recent Bracketology released has Wisconsin listed as a six-seed in the Midwest Division playing their first game in Omaha, which would be favorable for the Badgers. They are projected to match up against 11-seed South Florida, a team on the rise.

Come Selection Sunday though, Wisconsin shouldn't be one of those teams sitting and stressing about whether or not they are in. Barring a complete and total collapse, the Badgers should be able to sit comfortably on Selection Sunday and simply wait for a date, location, and opponent.

Selection Sunday will be on Sunday, March 17 at 6:00 p.m. ET on CBS. Wisconsin will be playing in the First Round which will run from March 21 to March 22. The Second Round will follow quickly after the first on March 23-24. Teams that make it to the Sweet Sixteen will have a couple of days of rest before they play on March 28 or March 29. The Elite Eight will follow fast on March 30-31.

Teams that make the Final Four will then have about a week off as they head to Glendale, Arizona to play in State Farm Stadium on April 6. The National Championship will be played two days later on April 8.
