Predicting the Badgers Ratings for EA Sports College Football 25
With the first NCAA football game since 2014 set to be released in July, let's take a look at what some potential rantings could look like for Wisconsin's top players.
Wohler is a beast and, barring any injury, is basically a sure-fire All-Big Ten selection. He's the leader of the defense and will almost certainly hear his name called at the NFL Draft in next April.
Pauling set Madison on fire with his breakout season last year after hauling in 74 catches for 837 yards. He figures to be the top target again on offense and will have a chance to establish himself as one of the premier slot receivers in college football.
After a seven interception season in 2023, Hallman put the entire conference on notice. A ballhawk and the best corner on the Badgers, Hallman will probably be one of the highest rated cornerbacks in the Big Ten.
The Miami transfer Van Dyke had some up and down years in south Florida. He threw for 25 touchdowns and nearly 3,000 yards his first year at the helm and will look to regain some of that magic in Madison after a very average 2023 season.
This rating could potentially be way too low depending on how Mellusi handles a starting role. He averaged 6.0 yards per carry in a supporting role last year for the Badgers, but will have a lot riding on his shoulders this year as RB1.
Mahlman is an uber talented lineman for the Badgers and, again, could make this rating look silly low. He's got NFL potential but still has some learning to do after a rough 2023.
Thompson Jr. is probably the Badgers best defensive lineman. The unit struggled to generate pressure in 2023 and will look to improve in 2024. Still, Thompson Jr. is a reliable defender and someone along the front to count on for consistency.
