Phil Longo is getting ready to head into his second season as the Badgers offensive coordinator under Luke Fickell. Longo had an okay first season, but both him nad Fickell probably wanted to do more in their first season.

Longo lucked out by having Braelon Allen at running back and Tanner Mordecai at quarterback, but now he will be without both of them in year two. In 2023, Longo; 's offense averaged 381.2 total yards per game, 220.2 passing, and 161.0 rushing.

Now Longo had Tyler Van Dyke behind center coming from Miami and with how good the passing game was in 2023, Van Dyke can make it even better. However, he only have one year of stats under his belt, so he needs to show improvement in 2024 on the offensive side of the ball.
