The Badgers hosted 33 players from the 2025 class on official visits this summer. So how successful were the recruiting weekends and how is the class shaping up?

Friday, May 31st, 2024 (17 players hosted)

Of the 17 players the Badgers hosted on the 31st, 10 of them, or 59%, committed to Wisconsin. It's not a super high percentage but Luke Fickell got some great players to come aboard from this visit. Four-star recruit, and the highest rated player of the class so far, linebacker Mason Posa ended up choosing the Badgers after this weekend.

Nine of the 10 players from this weekend have made commitments, and eight of those nine chose Wisconsin for an incredible 89% hit rate. The lone player yet to commit anywhere from this weekend is running back Byron Louis, who still remains a high priority for Fickell and company. Four-star recruit Hardy Watts was the big prize from this weekend of visits.

The single player to visit this weekend was offensive tackle Cam Clark, who committed to the Badgers giving them a 100% hit rate for the weekend.

Friday, June 14, 2024 (5 players hosted)

Wisconsin landed three of the five players, or 60%, from the June 14th official visits. This was the final weekend of visits before entering a "dead period" where coaches are not allowed to contact recruits.

Overall

Of the 32 recruits who made a commitment that the Badgers hosted this summer, 22 of them committed to Wisconsin for a total hit rate of 69%. That's very solid and a testament to the Badger recruiting staff. For reference, last season the Badgers were 20 for 32 in summer visits, or 62.5%. Look for next year to be even better.
