Now that the 2024 draft is wrapped, let's take an early peek at some Badgers who could hear their names called in 2025. With only two Badgers selected in this year's draft, Braelon Allen and Tanor Bortolini, the 2025 draft could see many more names from Wisconsin called.

S Hunter Wohler

Wohler led the team in tackles in 2023 and will look to continue his dominance on the Badger defense this year. He is vital leader on the team and provides more value than just his talents at safety. Depending on his season, Wohler's ceiling could be as high as the 2nd or 3rd round.

QB Tyler Van Dyke

The Miami transfer will presumably start for the Badgers this season in Phil Longo's air raid offense. Van Dyke isn't high on many draft boards yet, but a strong year could change that. He will be a 24 year old rookie, which could scare some teams away, but the talent is there.

CB Ricardo Hallman

After returning to the team in 2023 after a rocky 2022, Hallman balled out, recording an NCAA high seven interceptions. The ball hawk will have plenty of NFL suitor if he follows up 2024 with an equally dominant season. HIs ceiling could be as high as the 1st or 2nd round.

WR Will Pauling

Look up slot receiver in the dictionary and you'd find a picture of Will Pauling. He led the Badgers in receptions, yards and receiving touchdowns in 2023 and it wasn't close. He has the speed and skills to thrive in the NFL and would be a plug and play number three receiver for most NFL squads.

OT Jack Nelson

After a brief scare that Nelson might declare early, he announced he would return to the Badgers for the 2024 season. Nelson will join a storied tradition of offensive lineman in the NFL when he inevitably gets selected. Nelson's ceiling could be the 2nd or 3rd round.
