With the expected transfer of star player AJ Storr, the Badgers will have some big shoes to fill. Frankie Fidler, the Omaha transfer, has just narrowed his search down to four teams, and Wisconsin has made the cut.

According to On3 Sports, the talented forward has sets his sights on potentially Wisconsin, Michigan State, Nebraska or Creighton. Fidler already visited Wisconsin on March 29th, but still has yet an upcoming visit with Big Ten rival Michigan State. The Badgers may have an ace in the hole however, as current guard Chucky Hepburn was high school teammates with Fidler. Let's just hope that Bellevue West ties run deep.

The Omaha standout is coming off a monster season where he posted 20.1 points per game, 6.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists. Storr leaves a void of 17 points per game, so with the possible addition of Fidler, the Badgers could have an immediate replacement for his offensive production. Fidler offers solid shooting and, at 6-foot-7 with 1.2 steals per game, could provide valuable defensive help. As we all know, if you come to Wisconsin, you have to play defense.

There's no question Fidler would be an incredible get for the Badgers, but Fidler has given no indication yet on which way he might be leaning. Still, it's good to see the Badgers staying active in the transfer portal. They have also been linked to UNC-Greensboro's Mikeal Brown-Jones and Southern Illinois' Troy D'Amico to name a few. They'll need to land at least one or two top transfers to keep pace in the Big Ten.
