After initially narrowing his list down to six schools, highly desirable transfer Jay'viar Suggs has narrowed his focus even further to just four teams. The Grand Valley State transfer has announced the his final four choices are Wisconsin, LSU, Kentucky and Michigan.

Wisconsin offered Suggs back on April 26th and had him for a visit as well. He has now officially closed his recruitment so a decision will likely come soon. The Badgers could really use some reinforcements along the defensive line and adding Suggs would go a long way.

Only player on the entire defensive line managed more than one sack last season and it's a glaring issue for the Badgers. While the linebacking core should be solid, new defensive line coach EJ Whitlow will need to squeeze more out of his group in 2024.

Suggs was very productive at Grand Valley State and hopefully that production could continue in the Big Ten. The defensive lineman had 21 tackles and five sacks in 11 games last season in D-II ball. Suggs is also a former teammate of current Badger cornerback Nyzier Fourqurean, could a reunion be in store?
