The Badgers have landed edge rusher Nicolas Clayton after an up and down recruitment period. The three-star prospect announced his decision in a reflective video.

The Florida native had offers from Florida State and others and appeared for awhile he may end up staying in his home state. But the Badgers pulled out the win for their 21st commitment of the 2025 class.

Clayton took his official visit to Madison on June 7th and had a late visit to the Seminoles on June 19th. The Badgers were able to outlast the late push from Florida State and get to bring Clayton north.

The 6'4", 215 pound Clayton is the number 54 overall edge in the 2025 class and will provide the Badgers with some length and athleticism at the position. He joins Samuel Lateju and Brendan Anes as the third outside linebacker for this class.
